Wow! My heart overflows when I read the passage in John 15:
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. – Jesus, v. 12-16
I can’t get over on the passage.. It’s a great privilege to be called a friend of Jesus. Not only that, the Father will give us whatever we ask in Jesus’ name. With clear conscience and motives, I believe that God will provide all our needs. How to be called friend of Jesus? By obeying His command to love each other.
We are appointed to go and to bear fruit. Yes, the harvests are plentiful, we should go to the harvest fields and harvest the seeds that were been planted. There are also many people waiting for the word of God be planted to their hearts. Love each other! Let’s go! Bear fruit! To honor and glorify our God. To be called a friend of God…
