The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. – 1 Corinthians 12:12
Our body is made up of many parts. We have eyes to see, ears to hear, nose to smell, mouth to eat, tongue to talk, feet to walk and run; to name a few. And all of these parts are working together as one for us to live.
Just like the body of Christ. We, Christians, are part of the body of Christ. Each one of us, like the parts of the body, has role to do to strengthen and edify the church. Some are called to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be teachers, some to be evangelists and pastors, then workers of miracles, those who have gifts of healing, administration and other spiritual gifts. All are working together in harmony to build up the body of Christ.
